Plum has appointed senior people leader, Zoheab Rehaman, as its Head of People Success.
Rehaman assumes charge from February 1, 2022 and will be working closely with the founders as the company looks to grow from 100 employees to over 1000 over the next two years.
Rehaman comes with over 11 years of experience in leading people practices in prominent startups and global corporations such as Mu-Sigma, Pocket52, Scienaptic AI and Fintellix Solutions among others. In his earlier roles, he has successfully driven talent acquisition, retention, culture and employee experience, global policies and processes, multi-country compensation, payroll and compliance. In his previous role as Head of HR at Pocket52, Zoheab was instrumental in scaling up from an approximate 25 member team to 150 professionals within a few months.
On his new role at Plum, Zoheab Rehaman said, “I am excited to join Plum’s vibrant and dynamic work environment. As Plum envisages to make a mark on the lives and health of millions of Indians like never before, our responsibility will be to build a robust team of diversified talent that can help Plum drive its mission.”
Rehaman added, “Plum as an organisation focuses on employee health and well-being. Not only does it take utmost care in ensuring employee well-being and happiness, but also has the best employee benefits policy that includes health insurance cover for the employee, spouse, kids, parents and parents’-in-law, LQBTQ partner cover, top up cover of Rs. 20 lakhs, and 25 lakh accident cover for the employee. All Plum employees avail new initiatives launched for customers like Plum Wellness, Plum Telehealth, mental health counseling with Mindpeers, and annual health check-ups.”
Abhishek Poddar, Co-founder and CEO, Plum says, “We believe the only long term moat for a business is its quality of people. Plum values the growth and happiness of its people. We welcome Zoheab to the Plum family and are confident that his people-first approach will help us build a robust team, which values each other and are motivated to drive the broader organisational vision.”
